Three Rock Basketball Players Announce College Commitments

December 2, 2025

The Rock Basketball program is proud to celebrate the college commitments of three standout student-athletes who have each made their mark on and off the court.

Joseph Hartman, a 6’6” guard and four-year member of The Rock Basketball program, has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Michigan. Hartman’s leadership, versatility, and work ethic have set the standard for excellence throughout his time at The Rock.

Trace Westercamp, a 6’9” forward in his first year with the program, has announced his commitment to Florida Gulf Coast University. Westercamp’s presence in the paint and ability to impact the game on both ends have made an immediate impression this season.

Hendrix Loughridge, a 6’10” forward entering his second year at The Rock, has committed to Lipscomb University. Loughridge’s combination of size, skill, and toughness has anchored the team’s frontcourt and contributed to the program’s continued success.

“These young men represent the best of what our program is about—toughness, hard work, and commitment to excellence,” said Head Coach Justin Harden. “We’re incredibly proud of their accomplishments and excited to see them take the next step in their basketball journeys. I look forward to seeing our other seniors find a spot that fits them as well.”

The Rock Basketball program congratulates Joseph, Trace, and Hendrix on their achievements and looks forward to following their continued success at the next level. A signing ceremony will take place in The Rock gymnasium on Wednesday, November 12th at 1p.
