This year’s edition of The Jump — the massive pep rally to tip off The Rock’s basketball season — is scheduled for November 1st, technically starting at 6pm.
But make no mistake about it.
The buzz for this year’s event has reached such heightened levels that the gym will be at capacity long before the 6pm start.
So make plans to come early for what promises to be an evening of fun, games, music, and a hugely entertaining introduction to a new season of Lions basketball.
What to Expect
This year’s event, The Jump Built by Maven Construction, will tip off with the McFall Roofing Fan Zone right outside the school’s gym starting at 5pm, followed by The Jump itself inside the gym at 6pm.
The fan zone is a great opportunity for fans and families alike to meet players, play games, shop for merch, and find some delicious food and treats.
Once 6pm hits, the event’s crazed environment is all about one thing — fun!
In addition to the much-hyped team introductions, attendees will be treated to an amazing evening of hoops entertainment:
• A house DJ to get the crowd on its feet
• Concept Companies 3-Point Contest
• Weseman Builders Hot Shot Competition
• Crane & Hyatt Insurance Skills Competition
• Hundred Fitness Fan Half-Court Shot Challenge
Attendees of all ages are welcome to attend. And no, you don’t have to be a basketball fan to enjoy the fun — though you may very well leave as one.
