Congratulations to several of our TRS alumni for a big weekend in their careers.
• Zimi Nwokeji (2019) – Dayton
• Jaden Campbell (2019) – Samford
• Antrell Charlton (2018) – Fordham
• BJ Greenlee (2019) – FAU
The four former Lions enjoyed their college Senior Day over the weekend.
Charlton was the captain of The Rock’s 2018 title team.
Nwokeji helped lead the 2019 team to the championship.
Greenlee and Campbell were starters for both the 2018 and 2019 championship teams, with Greenlee named 2019 Tournament MVP.
Having accomplished amazing feats at The Rock School, these former Lions can now add successful Division 1 playing careers to their basketball resumes.
Heading to the Big Dance
Former Lion Alec Oglesby (2020) – Stetson, better known as “AO”, started for the Hatters and helped lead his team to the Atlantic Sun Championship, landing them a spot in the Big Dance (NCAA Tournament) for the first time in school history.
AO was a starter on The Rock’s 2019 championship team, as well.
“I am so proud of these young men,” said Coach Justin Harden.
“When they were at The Rock, we tried to I still values in them that would help them be productive at present and into the future.”
“And while the road hasn’t always been smooth for each of them, they have been able to remain faithful to work hard for themselves and their team,” Harden said.
“That faithfulness through hardship is demonstration of maturity and manhood. And for that, I am so proud.”
